Children’s character traits will follow them as they become young adults and throughout their life. Teaching strong character and developing who they are in a positive way at an early age is extremely important.

These days, many children are not taught or don’t know good manners or how to have positive character traits. Partly, this is due to people worrying more about offending the child or parents of that child that how that behavior is negatively impacting the child’s life. Children must learn how to be a productive and positive person. Without these traits as an adult, it will be difficult to keep a job and gain respect from peers and employers.

Here at Royal Tiger, Character Development classes teach your child more than the physical part of martial arts. Martial arts already teaches respect and good manners in a regular class setting. However, some children need more time focused on character development and this special class will guide them in becoming a great leader. We will teach them good manners, how to respect themselves and others, focus on the positives in life, set goals, deal with bullies, the importance of hygiene and situational awareness.
